Our church is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at this church.

Real Life Students

Who: All students in grades 6-12 are welcome anytime.

ABOUT REAL LIFE STUDENTS
At Real Life Church, we LOVE students! We believe middle and high school is a pivotal time in a young person’s relationship with Jesus, and everything we do will point our students to Jesus. Our greatest desire is to see students flourish for God’s glory.

How do we accomplish this?

Real Life Students Weekly Gathering – Every Wednesday during the school year, from 6:30-7:30p.m. at Real Life Church, we have student worship. We have games, large group worship with music and teaching from the Bible, and we have small groups, all designed with 6-12th-grade students in mind.

Special Events – One of our values at Real Life Hollister is “Grace and Truth in Relationships.” We regularly host fun events to give students a chance to hang out and grow in relationships. These events happen at different times throughout the year, and each event includes a short devotional.

Camps & Retreats – Each year, Real Life Students plans and participates in intentional camps and retreats, such as summer camp and Disciple Now (known as DNOW), to provide students with distraction-free time to learn about God and His word, come to know Him, and grow in their relationship with Him.

Real Life Students is led by a group of adults passionate about investing in the lives of students. If you are interested in being a part of this team, or if you have any questions about Real Life Students, contact our Student Ministry Leader, Jeff Struik (Office@reallifehollister.com).

Women’s Group

Women’s groups provide the ladies in our church family with special opportunities for interaction. Our women’s groups, located in several locations throughout our community, are times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). These groups provide a refreshing discipleship opportunity for the women in the church.

Men’s Accountability Group

Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. Accountability groups consist of three men each. Accountability groups meet together as their schedules allow and keep in touch by email or phone.

Marriage Group

Even though marriage is one of the most important institutions, it is the one that is under the most attack–internally and externally. The church gives engaged couples, married couples, widows, and widowers the opportunity to join our Marriage Group. Getting Ready for Kids, Shepherding Children, and all aspects of Marriage are areas we can improve.

Over 50’s

Once you get past fifty, the fun has just begun. Whether retired, just plain tired, or active as ever, the over-50 group of Real Life provides refreshment, ministry, and times of valuable interaction. A mentoring ministry gives older believers a chance to meet with and help younger believers grow in Christ.
